Whitehall

Scott Eugene Juhnke passed away at home on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at age 61. Scott was born in Shelbyville, IL to Charles "Bill" William Juhnke and Leola Jenell (Pfeiffer) Juhnke on May 4, 1962. He attended school in Shelbyville, IL and Windsor, IL graduating high school in 1980. He spent years farming on his family's farm and other various jobs.

In the early 90s, visits to his older brother Chuck's home in Montana made him fall in love with the mountains. In 2005 he decided to leave Illinois and live the rest of his life in Montana. A few years later he married Ellen Renee Stevens and they had a son in 2007, Dylan Scott Juhnke. He was employed with Montana Broom and Brush as a service technician and a member of the Teamsters Union. Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, sport shooting and camping but more than anything he loved his son Dylan immensely. He spent every possible moment making memories with him. Scott was very personable with everyone he met. He was a thoughtful and generous man with many friends. He will be missed by many.

Surviving are his son Dylan in Whitehall, MT and his former wife Ellen "Renee" in Butte, MT. He was preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Elizabeth (Lovins) Juhnke, Arthur W. “Art” and Ethel (McNeese) Pfeiffer, his father, mother, brother Charles "Chuck", two brothers, one sister at birth and a son Lucas Patrick Juhnke.

A cremation is planned and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
