Michael Dale Smith

Mike Smith passed away on February 17th, 2025, after a long battle with heart disease and recently lung cancer.  He was 72.  He was the oldest of five sons born to Joe and Betty Smith of Helena, MT.

In his early days, he was athletic and enjoyed all types of sports including basketball, baseball, and football. He was close to his brother and enjoyed four-wheeling with him, along with playing cards .

He married Charlene in March 1985 and began almost four decades of travel and adventures. He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews as having a sweet, gentle spirit and a clever wit that always left you laughing. He was well known for his ability to toss a funny line into any conversation and leave everyone in stitches.

Mike will live fondly in our hearts and will be missed by friends and family.
