Martha Frances Tinjum

Martha Tinjum, 98, of Three Forks, Mt passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Billings Clinic Broadwater in Townsend.

Martha was born on September 2, 1925, to William and Mary Ellen (Landers) Heaston in Logan, Mt. As a young girl they moved to Wise River, Mt until she finished the 5th grade. They then moved to quartz Hill by Dewey, Mt then to Silver Star, Mt and Twin bridges and finished school in Anaconda, Mt. The family moved to Spokane, Wa area for a time and then moved back to the Logan areawhere she met and married Jon Tinjum on October 12, 1947, in Deer Lodge, Mt. Following their marriage, they lived in Trident and then moved into three Forks, Mt.

She worked as a waitress in Three forks, enjoyed crocheting, gardening, raised bum lambs and traveling.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, husband John in 2005, son, Eugene and granddaughter, Lisa Marie. 3 great-grandaughters and 1 great-grandson survive her.

Funeral Services for Martha Tinjum, 98, of Three Forks will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the 11:30am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in three Forks. There will be 1 hour of visitation prior to the services at the church.

Burial will be held at the Sunset Memorial gardens Bozeman.
