Margaret Rose Pritchard

Margaret Rose Pritchard, 72, of Sheridan, Montana passed away from natural causes in Dillon, Montana on July 15, 2021.



Margaret was born in Hawthorn, Nevada on February 13, 1949 to Lois and Ike Furgason. Margaret grew up in various locations throughout the mountain west as her father traveled for work. She attended middle and high schools in Ogden, Utah. Soon after high school, Margaret left home and moved to Seattle, Washington where she worked for Boeing Aerospace. After a few years, Margaret felt homesick and returned to Ogden to be with family and friends. While in Ogden, Margaret met the love of her life, Kelly Pritchard. After courting for a while, Margaret and Kelly moved to Bannack, Montana. They were married in Dillon, Montana in 1970. After marriage, Margaret worked for several years at Skeet’s Café in Dillon, Montana before moving to reside in California. Margaret and Kelly had two sons, Davis Leroy and Justin Paul Pritchard. The kids were raised predominately in California and in Montana for a portion of the time. After her sons left home in the 1990s, Margaret moved to Sheridan, Montana full time to work and be close to family.



Margaret is survived by one brother and two sisters– Lee Furgason of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Janice Casey and Mary Bates of Sheridan, Montana; her two sons - Davis of Sheridan, Montana and Justin of Modesto, California; and her two grandchildren – Kelly and Chloe Pritchard of Whitehall, Montana.
