Linda Kay Wagner, born April 14, 1951 in Havre, Montana to Ken and Lydia Rice, passed away on January 26, 2022 at her home in Whitehall, Montana with her husband Don, her two daughters, and her brother by her side.
On June 19th, 1971, Linda married the love of her life, Don Wagner. They spent the first 15 years of their marriage on a little ranch in Arvada, Colorado. During this time, they welcomed two daughters and a son. In 1985 the family moved to Whitehall, Montana and settled on a little farm south of town.
Linda quickly became a part of the community, becoming involved with 4-H and her church. Linda served as the Leader of the Jefferson and Madison County Junior Leaders for 30 years. She loved to sew and bake and could be seen at craft shows and farmers markets in the area. She was always the first to bring a meal to anyone in need. Linda’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and, the newest addition, her great grandson Nash.
Linda’s celebration of life will begin with a rosary vigil on Wednesday, February 2nd at 5pm at St. Teresa of Avila in Whitehall, Montana. Funeral services will be held February 3rd at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa’s with a luncheon reception to follow. Linda will be laid to rest at the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in the North Boulder with graveside services at 3:30 on the 3rd.
