Kathleen Baril

Casey was born in Shelby, MT March 22nd, 1944 to Bruce and Joeen Baril. She received her wings on October 06th, 2021 joining her daughter Laura.

Our #1 sister (she did not want to be known as the oldest).

Casey attended school in Sheridan 1st – 12th grade. She was a member of the band, choir, and drama club. She was president of our FHA her senior year. She was on the Panther yearbook committee. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1962.

She was a dispatcher for Martinez Police Department in California and finished her career as a Madison County Dispatcher for nearly 20 years. Casey was known for her calm and cool radio presence and competency with her office duties.

She had a knack for seeing only the good in people and seeing the beauty around her.

Her artistic ability was known to many, especially the window displays at the Sheridan Liquor Store. She with many others, started the first Sheridan Summer Festival and was active in many other community events. Not to mention a beloved member of the Sunshine Girls.

She is proceeded in death by her father, mother, and sister JoAnn Draper. She is survived by Kelly Thorn, Colleen Baril, Patsy Stanton, Mike Baril, Jennifer Baril, Dan Baril and Erin Rossiter and families.

She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of her life will be celebrated in early July of 2022.
