Joan Cornelia Cronk

Joan Cornelia Cronk, born on June 22, 1935, in Paterson, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, in Sheridan, MT, of natural causes.

Joan was married to Norbert Peter Hopp until November 1970, and together they had four children: Janice Raziano, Brian Hopp (deceased), Laurie Westover, and Steven Hopp.

On January 13, 1972, she married Harold Raymond Cronk in New Jersey. They later moved to Albuquerque, NM, where they spent many happy years raising their family. Joan also cherished adventures in Nevada, Alabama, Colorado, Oregon, and Montana throughout her life.

Joan deeply loved her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her every day. She believed in finding happiness in the simple things: being with her family, playing video poker, and enjoying a good glass of wine. While she often said it wasn't an "exciting" life, it was filled with love and contentment, which made her truly happy.

In the last portion of her life, Joan was a resident of The Home Park Assisted Living facility in Sheridan, MT, where she was cared for and loved. Her family expresses their deep gratitude to all who shared in her care.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
