Janice Marie Casey, 76, of Sheridan Montana passed away peacefully in Billings, MT on November 15, 2024.

Janice was born to Lois and Ike Furgason in Rawlins, WY on December 16, 1947. Janice grew up in various locations throughout the mountain west as her father traveled for work. She attended most of her schooling in Sunset, UT. In 1960, while in school in Sunset, Janice met the love of her life, Raymond Lowell Casey. After courting for a while, Janice and Ray were married on August 31, 1962. During their marriage, the Caseys lived in the Rocky Mountains in Ogden, UT; Blackfoot ID; and Bannack and Sheridan MT. In Ogden, in the early 1970s, Janice returned to school and earned her GED. Throughout her life, Janice was a loving mother, sister, housewife, co-worker and life-long companion. Janice and Ray share their five daughters: Nina Marie, Mary Ann, RayAnn, Rosie Mae and Jody Lynn. Throughout their marriage, Jan and Ray worked together in their upholstery business as well as a game processing and meat products business. Together they enjoyed spending time with their family as well as camping, hunting, fishing, and exploring the mountains via off-road travel.

Janice is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond Casey; a sister, Mary (Robert) Bates of Sheridan MT; and their five daughters Nina M Philpott of Billings MT; Mary Ann Casey and Jody L Lovejoy of Sheridan MT; RayAnn (Russ) Sutton of Dillon MT; Rosie M (Gary) Elliott of Spring Brook WI; her 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
