Dave Wassam

Dave Wassam, 86, of Whitehall, Montana, passed away on December 3, 2023.

Dave was born on June 1, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio, to Homer and Doris Wassam. He lived in Michigan, California, and Washington before moving to his beloved Montana in 1983. Dave was a jack of all trades and did his best at everything hetried. He drove cement mixer, was a longhaul trucker, and finally, a plumber who owned and operated Dave’s Plumbing for decades. Dave was, at heart, a true cowboy, an avid hunter, and loved the outdoors. Dave also served in the Army.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Wassam, and sister, Enid Charbonneau. Dave is survived by his brother, Dan Wassam, children, Elaine (Rick) McGill, Suzy (Gary) Monteith, Kris (Bill) Connors, and Dave (Tina) Wassam.  He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special, heart-felt thank you to Shannon Jones and to Cathy Jones, for all they have done for Dave/Pops throughout the years.

No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the MS Society, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, or the NRA.
