DarLyne Olson

DarLyne was born in Bozeman, MT to Allen and Maude Short. She grew up in the Gallatin Valley where she met and married Philip Arthur Olson on 09/17/1954. They added to their family with son Michel, followed by daughters Holly and Nancy. DarLyne enjoyed riding horses and later watching rodeos, reading, and crossword puzzles. Spending time with her family and pets brought her great joy. She loved living in the Dry Creek area where she cherished the community and seeing "her" Bridgers every morning. She also lived in Hayward, CA and Rapid City, SD but knew Montana was al-ways home. 

DarLyne was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers James and Jess Short, husband Philip, in-laws Jess and Grace Olson, and sister-in-law Doris (Olson) Kallestad Swanson.

She is survived by her children, Michel, Holly Yamada, and Nancy (Ari) Boyer, 6 grandchildren, Jordan Olson (Spencer), Brooke (DJ) Flatness, John Olson, Morgan Olson, Mari Yamada and Sho Yamada. There are also 5 great-grandchildren, Silas, Brooklyn, Maverick, Scout, and Ender. DarLyne is also survived by sister-in-law Dorothy Short and several nieces and nephews.
